Adriana helps scholars communicate online and through the media to improve public policy and defend democracy. In 2017, Adriana is organizing scholars for a new project to protect the right to vote and other core democratic principles, with a focus on making an impact in state capitals from coast to coast.
Adriana Mendoza studied International Affairs and Art History at the George Washington University. Upon graduating, she worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She joined the Scholars Strategy Network staff in 2014, initially managing the SSN website and back office operations. A native of Venezuela, Adriana is interested in Latin American politics, strategies for resisting authoritarian regimes, and in the role that urban planning plays in building equitable cities.
