Ben helps researchers make their research and expertise useful in public debates. Ben guides scholars through the process of translating their research from academic publications into clear, compelling language. He introduces scholars to civic leaders, policy makers and journalists. He helps researchers become part of Scholars Strategy Network chapters in the states where they live, and connects them to chapters and policy initiatives in the states where their policy expertise is most relevant.
Ben helps Scholars Strategy Network leaders reach out to welcome new members to the network. He works to help chapters reach out across academic disciplines, bridge public and private universities, and accelerate the participation and leadership of women scholars and scholars of color.
Ben graduated summa cum laude from Boston College where he earned a BA in philosophy and theology. His interests include scholarly communication, governance, and religious networks.
