Why the Rich Have an Interest in Paying Higher Taxes

America's wealthy keep getting richer, and they have a loud megaphone. But evidence and logic show the rich would be better off without tax cuts pushed by politicians they have funded. Like all citizens, the wealthy would benefit if some of the money they squander was used to reduce public debt and meet shared needs.
