Reynolds’s research interests center on social change, law, educational organizations, and gender. In her dissertation, funded by the National Science Foundation, she examines why and how the implementation of Title IX has shifted from an emphasis on gender equity in athletics to sexual harassment on college campuses. Reynolds is involved with Yale’s Center for Gender and Campus Culture, where she assesses the efficacy of intervention programs seeking to shift gender dynamics and sexual culture on campus.

Uses an experimental approach to identify the conditions associated with ritual experiences.
