Working Group on Health Reform Implementation

Mission:

The Implementation of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 is proceeding in the fifty states as well as nationally. SSN experts have joined together to identify the key decision-points and track developments in coverage, insurance offerings, and regulation at both federal and state levels. They prepare briefs and presentations and publish analyses and commentary in national and regional media outlets. Many Working Group members analyze and compare state-level developments in both policy and politics. Some offer recommendations for ways to optimize reform – fully expand coverage, cut costs, and improve the quality of health care, especially for vulnerable populations.
